Our Production Process
Design
Extreme is open to both ODM and OEM. ODM products are initiated and designed by our professional designers. For OEM products, clients present us with their own sketches or designs, our designer will check its feasibility and make changes if needed.
Making Mold & Casting
Once designs are ready, 3D printing machine will be applied to create a wax mold which will be converted into silver mold later on for rubber mold making.Injecting the rubber molds with wax creates mass wax pieces and solder them onto a wax tree. Pouring plaster over the wax tree and allow it to set,and then place it into a high temperature oven to create a plaster mold. Finally, gold is melted and poured into the plaster mold. Once the metal tree cools, rinse the plaster off by using high-pressure water gun. Cut the metal pieces off from the trees and prepare them for the next process.
Grinding
A small nub will be left on each casting when clipping them off from the tree.Using a motorized grinding machine to grind off these nubs and polish the jewelry pieces roughly. A final polishing is then done by holding the piece against a spinning grinding wheel to achieve a smooth surface.
Stone Setting
Unique designs require different stone setting approaches.Various tools are used in the process to create the desired appearance of the jewelry piece. Stone settings vary from simple prong setting, pave setting, bezel setting, channel setting to invisible setting, all of which are done in-house by our skillful craftsmen.
Final Polishing and Plating
Final polishing will be applied once the jewelry pieces are assembled. This will give the products a shining and smooth surface. This can also help the plating metals better adhere to the jewelry piece. Once the desired plating is complete, the production of jewelry pieces comes to the end.
Final QC & Packaging
Even with several in process QC, We still run a 100% quality check before pack up the products to insure our clients receive the premium quality they expect. All products are packed individually in a transparent bag, if not instructed otherwise, makes it easier for clients to repack with their own labeled material for wholesale and retail.
